AUTHENTICITY GUARANTEE

A certificate of authenticity (gem certificate) by the Global Gem Testing Laboratory (GGTL) will be provided for jewellery with precious gem stones that are of 1.00ct and above, and for jewellery with semi-precious gem stones that are of 3.00ct and above. For all other jewellery, a certificate can be obtained on request at a fee of USD15.

The Global Gem Testing Laboratory (GGTL) is an independent firm that identifies, appraises and evaluates gemstones and jewellery. GGTL is a member of Alumni Association GIA, Gemmologist Association Great Britain (FGA) and Gemmologist Association of Sri Lanka (MGA).

DELIVERY TIMES

All of our jewellery is handmade, but we do try to keep some items in stock.  These will be sent within 3-4 working days of placing the order. Personalised items generally take up to 5 working days to be dispatched.  Made to order jewellery may take a little longer depending on the requirements of the gemstone(s) at around 2 weeks.  Any time or date stated for delivery is an estimate only. Made to order jewellery with precious stones and metal will also be price estimated, and we will make every effort to fit within the estimated range with details provided. 

Items are sent to overseas addresses via tracked delivery services at an estimated cost of USD20-25 per order.  Please note that customers are responsible for all duties and customs charges.

REPAIRS

We ensure that our craftsmanship is at high standards, because we want every item you own or that give to someone special to be loved for years. In the unlikely event of any craftsmanship defect be found in the first three months of purchase, at the discretion of LEKNIN JEWELS, an item will be repaired or replaced. Normal wear and tear and customer abuse is not covered under warranty, and repairs will be quoted for on a case-by-case basis with a most minimum fee if need be.

Please note we are not responsible for cost of return postage unless items delivered are faulty or incorrect.  If this should occur, please contact us.  Please allow 7 working days for returns to be processed once they reach us.

If it is an international return, please clearly label the package “Returned for Repair”.  This will ensure that your returned goods are not held at customs, which could otherwise result in delays in processing your refund or you may become liable for customs charges.

RESIZING

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide an accurate ring size prior to production. Pieces will be resized on a case-by-case basis and may come with a resizing fee. Some products, due to its intricate settings or certain featured gemstones, they cannot be resized.
